Day Camp Counselors

Woodson YMCA Camp Sturtevant is looking for Counselors to join our team this summer.

Help create the magic of summer camp!

Day Camp Counselors

At Camp Sturtevant, Day Camp Counselors are responsible for implementing activities and crafts based on theme weeks with the support of Program Coordinators and Leadership Staff.

Being a Camp Counselor is a very rewarding job, you will play a big part in shaping the lives of our campers. Spend the summer in the sunshine while you develop teaching, coaching and leadership skills.

Applicants do need to be 18 at the time of June 3rd
Availability required late May through August
Monday-Friday: Full time hours with weekends off
Compensation starts at $500 per week!

Explorers and Leadership Coordinator

The qualifications for this position are:

Age 21 or older before June 8th
Availability required Late May through Late August
Monday-Friday: Full Time hours with Weekends Off
Willing to participate in overnight camping on-site and off-site
The ability to work in outdoor conditions and environments for extended periods of time, while also being willing to sleep in a tent for up tp 4 nights in a row.
Willing to be lifeguard certified
Comfortable with light cooking responsibilities
Willing to drive 13-passenger vans
