Tumbling Classes

BOYS & GIRLS AGES 6+ 

Our Tumbling Classes provide an excellent supplement for cheer and a dance athletes or anyones wanting to enjoy the dynamic, acrobatic side of gymnastics in a supportive setting.

The Tumbling 1 class is designed for athletes learning foundational skills such as round-offs and walkovers. Participants will develop strength, coordination, and body control while building confidence in basic acrobatic movements.

The Tumbling 2 class focuses on advancing skills beyond the basics, including back handsprings and more complex acrobatic sequences. This class helps athletes refine technique, increase power, and build consistency for performance or competition preparation.

Tumbling 1

Ages 6+ | Co-Ed

45 Minutes / Once a Week

This beginner-level tumbling class is designed for athletes learning foundational skills such as round-offs and walkovers. Participants will develop strength, coordination, and body control while building confidence in basic acrobatic movements. Tumbling 1 is appropriate for kids currently in our Advanced Classes looking to enhance their acrobatic skills. Perfect for cheerleaders, dancers, or gymnasts new to tumbling.

Recommended Skills Before Registering

  • Able to perform a solid handstand
  • Can do a basic forward roll confidently
  • Comfortable with cartwheels or working toward a round-off
  • Able to safely perform a bridge or backbend
  • Basic body awareness and coordination in gymnastics movement

Tumbling 2

Ages 6+ | Co-Ed

An intermediate tumbling class focused on advancing skills beyond the basics, including back handsprings and more complex acrobatic sequences. This class helps athletes refine technique, increase power, and build consistency for performance or competition preparation. Tumbling 2 is ideal for gymnasts in Advanced Recreational Classes or higher levels seeking to progress their tumbling skills.

Recommended Skills Before Registering

  • Consistent round-off technique
  • Able to perform a backbend kickover or walkover with control
  • Comfortable performing back handsprings (light spotting ok)
  • Good upper body and core strength for advanced tumbling skills
  • Previous tumbling or gymnastics experience recommended
