When you get a membership at the YMCA, you’re entering an established community of people that are focused on getting healthier and enjoying life.
Our members enjoy socializing with one another as much as they enjoy attending one of our many classes or breaking a sweat in the gym.
Beyond our educational courses, our safety certifications and classes and our focus on improving our members’ health, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive community of people that are respectful and helpful to one another.
Y FOR ALL
Your Membership Means So Much More
Be part of a cause-driven organization committed to nurturing kids, supporting healthy lifestyles and giving back. With programs like LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Exercise for Better Movement and dozens more youth and family programs, we are providing so many opportunities to stay healthy, active and engaged in the communities we serve and strengthen.
We have a rate to fit every budget. The Y is for all!
Financial Assistance: At the Y, no one is turned away for inability to pay. The Y provides financial assistance to youth, families and individuals who do not have the resources to pay the full membership or program fee. Assistance is provided for qualifying participants.
The Landing Social Membership: You pay a nominal monthly fee for use of our 55+ adult activity center, The Landing. You’ll have access to educational programs and many other enjoyable and healthy activities taking place in our main senior social center. Financial support available if needed.
SilverSneakers is the nation’s leading exercise program designed exclusively for people with Medicare (usually age 65 and older). Those who are eligible to participate in SilverSneakers will receive a membership to the Y at no cost!
To verify eligibility for Y membership, present SilverSneakers Member ID card to the business desk at either Woodson YMCA branch, and also complete membership paperwork.

The YMCA aims to improve our nation's health by providing programs and activities that promote overall well-being, no matter where you are on your journey toward better health. And when people feel their best and have fulfilling lifestyles, their communities become stronger, too.
The YMCA believes our communities are strongest when everyone is included and has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We welcome and connect people of all generations, backgrounds and perspectives, and we’re committed to addressing issues that people face to create positive change.
