Jr. Developmental Gymnastics

Boys & Girls Ages 4-6

Preschool through 1st Grade

Our Jr. Gymnastics Program is designed specifically for preschoolers and through 1st Graders, offering gymnastics instruction in a calm, smaller gym environment. These classes focus on age-appropriate skill development, strength building, and confidence, using the same comprehensive curriculum as the older groups but tailored to younger athletes’ learning needs. This quieter, more personalized setting helps children concentrate better while receiving individual attention from coaches to foster body awareness, coordination, and a lifelong love of gymnastics.

Gymnasts in our program progress through Our Gymnastics Skill Development Program, advancing their skills and confidence as they move toward more focused training. After mastering foundational, skills & progressions, and advanced skills classes, gymnasts are invited to join our Preteam, which prepares them for the demands and routines of our Competitive Team.

Classes are organized by age—such as Jr. classes for younger gymnasts and School Age classes for older kids—to provide a comfortable, age-appropriate learning environment. However, the curriculum and skill development remain consistent across these groups. This means gymnasts do not need to move through Jr. classes before joining School Age classes; both tracks cover the same skills, just tailored to support the physical and social needs of each age group.

This approach ensures every gymnast learns at their own pace in an environment that best suits their developmental stage, setting them up for success as they progress through the program.
