Open Swim Age & Guardian Requirements




Open Swim Age Requirements & Rules:
A guardians are required during open swim for children ages 11 and under.
The guardian must be in the pool for children 8 and under.
A guardian is the parent or legal guardian of the child.
- Ages 0-6: Guardian must be in the pool within arms reach of child.
- Ages 7-8: Guardian must be in pool and actively supervising.
- Ages 9-11: Guardian must be in pool area and actively supervising.
- Ages 12+: Child can be alone in pool and pool area. Deep water swim test required.
- Ask the lifeguard on duty for a swim test.
Pool Rules: The Lifeguard has the authority to make decisions and take actions to ensure the safety of swimmers. Our aquatics team works diligently to provide a safe, clean and comfortable swimming experience for all of our patrons.
- Ask lifeguard on duty for a deep water swim test.
- All life jackets must be Coast Guard approved.
- No breath holding or extended underwater swimming is allowed.
- Goggles may be used. No fins, mermaid tails, snorkels or other equipment allowed.
