In order to help you achieve your fitness goals, we like to take the time to learn more about you and just exactly what it is you're hoping to achieve at the Y. We offer FREE orientation sessions that wil help us get acquainted with you, and to help you get familiar with the many wellness solutions we offer. The equipment orientation is designed for adult members seeking coaching on proper form and technique on specific lifestyle center equipment. Our centers house a variety of strength and cardio apparatus, and we want to ensure that you're familiar with the equipment and using it both safely, and to your full advantage. Work with our wellness coaches on identifying equipment that aligns with your wellness goals, and practice utilizing the equipment safely and efficiently.

Fit happens! It really does. Join FIT START!
A 4-week personalized program for people new to exercise or those who have not exercised in a long time. FIT START is designed to help participants develop and sustain a healthy lifestyle! Three one-on-one appointments with a wellness coach within a 4-week time frame. Together the coach and participant develop an exercise program that is designed to fit the individual’s needs and goals. Complete the program and receive a Fit Start t-shirt on your final appointment. Reserve your first appointment time at the Member Service Center TODAY!
• Cardiovascular exercises (bikes, treadmills)
• Resistance training (strength machines)
• Flexibility training (stretching exercises)
• Encouragement and health information from trained Wellness Coach
Body Comp and BMI Assessment
Learn your body composition (ratio of body fat to muscle) and and BMI (Body Mass Index) by having these tests performed by a certified fitness specialist. You may schedule an appointment by contacting either branch.
Our Fitness Evaluation includes blood pressure and heart rate readings, height and weight, Body Mass Index, body composition, cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and a detailed computer printout of results. This vital information is for everyone of all stages of fitness and all different ages from 12 to 90.
The Physical Therapy Program is an easy way for an individual to transition from supervised therapeutic exercise to an independent exercise routine for continuation of a healthy lifestyle. This four-week program will continue therapeutic intervention with your therapist one time per week, coinciding with one appointment per week with a YMCA strength trainer. The program allows unlimited access for four weeks at both YMCA facilities. Scheduled weekly appointments with your therapist will continue to be billed through your insurance company.
