The Y is Where Girls Rise

At the Woodson YMCA, we believe every girl deserves the chance to discover her strength, build confidence, and feel like she belongs in sports.

The Y is Where Girls Rise at the Woodson YMCA empowers girls to build confidence, develop skills, and find a strong sense of belonging through supportive, girls-only sports programs. Participants can explore a variety of activities—including soccer, flag football, basketball, workshops, and multi-sport samplers (like sluggerball/baseball-style play)—all designed to promote teamwork, leadership, and fun in an encouraging environment for every skill level.
