Living The Mission
Woodson YMCA Annual Report 2024
Dear Y Friends,
At the heart of everything we do at the Woodson YMCA is our mission, to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. This past year has been a powerful reflection of that mission in action. Together, we have witnessed incredible growth, deepened our community impact, and continued to be a trusted place for people of all ages and backgrounds across the greater Wausau area.
We are proud to report that membership has continued to increase substantially. This growth isn’t just in numbers, it represents lives changed, families supported, and a stronger, more connected community. From youth learning teamwork in sports leagues to seniors finding a place to connect and socialize in The Landing, our YMCA continues to be a place where people come to be supported, uplifted, and empowered.
None of this would be possible without the commitment of our incredible staff, volunteers, donors, and partners. You have helped us fulfill our promise to be “For All”, to ensure everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and belong.
As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to building on this momentum. The Woodson YMCA will continue to innovate, adapt, and lead by our mission — inspired by the people we serve.
Thank you for being a vital part of our YMCA family. Together, we are creating a healthier, stronger, and more inclusive community, one person, one program, one connection at a time.
With gratitude,
Bryan Bailey – President & CEO
Deborah Kane – Chief Volunteer Officer
