What to know about Camp!
Everything you need to know about your child's week at camp!
Typical Day at Camp
Camp operates with a Drop-Off and Pick-Up Line. It is staffed from
6:30-9:00am and 3:30-6:00pm.
6:30am - Curbside Drop-Off Starts
Pre-Care: Campers can be dropped off as early as 6:30 AM
9:00am - Curbside Drop-Off Ends
9:00 AM - 3:30 PM: During this time you will need to park & walk
to a Camp Staff Member.
9:00am - 3:30pm Camp
Camp activities and fun are had.
3:30pm - Curbside Pick Up Starts
Post-Care: Camper’s have free play time.
6:00pm - Camp Closes
Campers must be picked up no later than 6 p.m.
Arrival at Camp
- When arriving to drop off, we will have a line around the circle drive with signs for instructions.
- Parents will stop at the front of our Main Lodge and will be greeted with a staff member at your child's door.
- Parents will remain in the vehicle while children get out of the vehicle.
- Staff will escort the children to meet up with their group.
Rain Days
- Please check in at our Main Lodge with a staff member for further instructions if needed.
Pick-Up / Dismissal
- When arriving for pick up, follow through the circle drive.
- When a staff greets you at your window please be prepared to tell them your child's Age, First Name & Last Name.
- Please watch for other children getting into their vehicles.
Rain Days
- Please check out at our Main Lodge with a staff member for further instructions if needed.

Camp Menu
A healthy and balanced breakfast, lunch and end of day snack is provided that meets the SFSP summer food service program.
Monthly menus will be available before the start of each month.
Camp Store
Our Camp Store is a place campers may choose to visit for a treat, once a day, weather and time permitting.
- Our Camp Store does not accept cash.
- Store money can be added through campers CampInTouch Account.
- Accounts are by each individual camper.
Our Camp Store Offers:
- Gatorade, slushies, chips, ice cream and more.
- All items are $1 - $3
Write your child's name on everything they bring to camp!
Parents please apply first layer of sunscreen & bug spray prior to coming to camp. Thank you!
What to wear to Camp:
- Clothes to play & get dirty in
- Closed Toe Shoes
- Sandals with Backs
- Warmer Clothes for Cold Days
- Warmer Clothes for Rainy Days
Backpack Essentials:
- Water Bottle
- Swim Suit

What to leave home:
- No Cell phones, tablets and electronics
- No Toys and stuffed animals
- No Pokemon cards and legos
- No Cameras
No Phone Policy:
- If your child needs a phone for after camp, it must be turned into staff at morning drop off.
- It is both the child and parents responsibility to ensure that devices with a camera are turned into staff at drop off.
- Phones will be returned at pick up.
Lost & Found
Camp Sturtevant’s lost and found is located on the top floor of the New Building. Please use the side door closest to the stairs to access the lost and found area. The door will be open Monday–Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
We encourage families to check for missing items regularly, as all unclaimed items will be donated every three weeks.
