Otter -Assistant Camp & Youth Program Director
I am greatly excited for what my second year as Assistant Camp Director with Camp Sturtevant has in store. As a Door County native, and prior Y-Camp Director, I thoroughly enjoy giving kids an opportunity to learn and grow in an outdoor setting. Summers are long and there’s no better way to spend them than at Camp, developing current and new friendships! I am a graduate of Loras College, Dubuque IA, where I studied business/economics and played four years of collegiate soccer. Go Duhawks! While not at camp you can find me on the golf course or rather riding my snowboard at Rib Mountain in the off-season. Have a question for Otter? Email here.

Hello! My name is Aqua and this will be my second summer at Camp Sturtevant, but I have been working in recreation and aquatics for 15 years! When I'm not at camp I am a mom of two, a full time nursing student and work in aquatics at the downtown Y. Life for me is always full of adventure, and I know this summer will be nothing less!

This is my third summer at camp. I attend the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and I am both an early childhood and special education major. In my free time, I love to travel and watch Netflix. I’m looking forward to another fun summer at Camp Sturtevant!

This will be my fifth summer at camp, I started in 2014 as a Junior Counselor for two years and then have been a Senior Counselor for the past two summers. I will be a junior in the fall at UW-Madison and am pursuing a degree in zoology with a certificate in education and educational services. After school, I hope to get a job at a zoo as a curator of education running education programs and summer camps. When I'm not at camp or stuck studying I love fishing, hiking, camping, playing basketball and just being outdoors in general. I can't wait for this summer to start and have it be the BEST one yet!

Chief started working at YMCA Camp Adventure in Mosinee five years ago, as a camp manager and counselor. Before that, he had taught school fulltime since 1984, had been an administrator, and worked with at-risk teens in a wilderness therapy setting.  Prior to college, Chief served in the US Marine Corps working in aircrew survival. He has continued to build on this survival training and enjoys historical reenacting as a hobby.  Other hobbies include playing harmonica and drums, martial arts, all outdoor activities and reading histories.

I am currently enrolled in the Urban Forestry Technician program at Mid-State Technical College. I enjoy my studies and intend to work as an arborist following graduation. In my free time, I enjoy hunting and being outdoors.
