Camp Sturtevant is nestled along the Eau Claire River, surrounded by pines and hardwoods. A combination of hiking trails, woods, open play fields, wildlife, and log sided buildings create a true feeling of Northern serenity. Camp Sturtevant’s quiet atmosphere is perfect for your gathering any season.
Even after the snow flies, Camp Sturtevant provides an ideal setting for groups downhill skiing & snowboarding Granite Peak, Tubing at Sylvan Hill, snow shoeing Rib Mountain, or cross country skiing Nine Mile Park. Our facility is set up for groups like yours. There are dates currently open, but spots go fast. Contact Stephanie at 715-841-1825 or email her to make your reservation!
The refurbished Riverside Lodge was moved to Camp Sturtevant in the late forties from the Rib Mountain area Conversation Camp. Today, Riverside is winterized and sleeps 56. Each wing has cozy wood bunk beds.
The Fireplace Room connects each wing and is ideal for gathering and roasting marshmallows or heating up a cup of soup. It offers a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, hot plates, pizza ovens, toaster, and fire place. The Bath House offers hot showers and rest rooms, adjacent to Riverside Lodge.
