YMCA Flag Football offers a chance for each participant to develop skills in a healthy and welcoming environment. It is a time for kids to be taught skills and fundamentals of the game. Leagues focus on having fun and teaching fundamentals. Week 1 will be a skills/fundamentals practice, learning the basics of football (passing, catching, blocking and defensive positions) and also being taught plays by volunteer coaches. Weeks 2-7 will be organized 6 on 6 games, playing different teams each week with coaches and referees to help assist with games and teach kids We have fall and spring leagues. Tennis shoes or football cleats are suitable. Players will be educated on safe techniques of the game such as keeping their eyes and head up while pulling flags and not leaving their feet to pull flags.
Spring Youth Flag Football
(Ages 4K- 6th Grade) YMCA Flag Football offers a chance for each participant to develop skills in a healthy and welcoming environment. It is a time for kids to be taught skills and fundamentals of the game.
YMCA Flag Football leagues provide players the opportunity to learn the basics of football in a developmental environment. Leagues focus on having fun and teaching fundamentals. This league will take place on Saturday mornings.
Dates: Saturdays, April 27- June 8
No programming May 25 (Memorial Day weekend).

4 – K 9:00 a.m.
1- 2 Grades 10:00 a.m.
3- 4 Grades 11:00 a.m.
5- 6 Grades 12:00 p.m.
