Show Your Support

When you give to the Y, you’re doing your part to strengthen our community—and a strong community is good for everyone. When you support the Woodson YMCA, you are helping us sustain the empowering LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program, you’re helping a child in need attend summer camp, or giving someone the assistance they need to make a healthy change in their life. Donations let us continue to affect positive change in our region.

There are many ways you can help the YMCA continue its mission to help the community grow strong in spirit, mind and body. Become a member. Volunteer your time. Donate financially to one of our campaigns.

Community Partners Campaign The Woodson YMCA’s program and membership fees do not cover all the costs of supporting programs for low income adults and children. As a nonprofit organization, contributions are a critical source of income, helping to ensure our promise that no one is ever denied access to our YMCA programs or facilities because of inability to pay. Only by working together can we give more community members the opportunity to grow strong in spirit, mind and body. For more information on how you can help support those in need, please call Kathy Peterson at 715-841-1810. We accept financial donations to our Community Partners Campaign over the phone, through postal mail, and we can accept online contributions here. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

Heritage Fund  The Heritage Fund of the Woodson YMCA Foundation, Inc. provides a system to fund important YMCA programs that require subsidy. It is there to fund essential programs for at-risk youth, low-income families, adults (many with special needs), group homes and dislocated workers. The fund will be administered by the Woodson YMCA Foundation Board of Directors to extend and perpetrate the service of the YMCA to the community and to support the YMCA legacy. Learn more in our online brochure!

A Heritage Fund investment strengthens the YMCA’s capacity to provide programs for low income people, which build relationships, improve skills, and promote health. If you are interested in helping the YMCA support its charitable work, by making a gift to the Heritage Fund, please contact Executive Director Bryan Bailey to discuss your contribution.
