Baseball

Ages 4-7 (boys and girls)
Thom Field in Wausau

“Sluggerball” gives kids the opportunity to become familiar with “America’s Game”. With two leagues, T-ball and coaches pitch, your child will either be able to hit from a tee or challenge themselves to hitting a ball pitched to them by a coach. This gives kids a chance to progress at a level most suitable for their age and skill level. Throwing, catching, hitting, and base running are among the many skills your son or daughter will develop and build upon in this program. (Youth baseball is held in the summer only)

Basketball

Ages 4 through Grade 4 (boys and girls)
Wausau Branch South Gym

Youth basketball runs during the fall, winter, and spring over the course of three sessions. In the youth basketball Winter session, kids will get a grasp of the important fundamental skills needed in the game of basketball. This includes speed, agility, ball-handling, passing, shooting, defense, rebounding and more. The importance of getting this exposure to the game at an early age is invaluable in terms of developing interest. In the Fall and Spring sessions, kids will play 6 weeks of organized team basketball and receive a team shirt. Participating in as many sessions as possible gives your son/daughter a well-rounded introduction to the game of basketball.

If you would like to coach your son or daughters team, please contact Sayer Jackson or Sammy Johnson at 715-845-2177.

(Youth Basketball is held during the Fall, Winter* and Spring) *Clinic held in winter, no league
