The Woodson YMCA is here to serve you and provides multiple avenues for those in a financial challenge.
General Financial Assistance
Based on income, financial assistance and scholarships are available to those who qualify, and are made possible through contributions to the Woodson YMCA’s annual “Community Partners Campaign.”
Please call either YMCA branch to schedule a confidential appointment. Click here to download and save our application for financial assistance. It can be filled out at the appointment. Please bring along a copy of last year’s taxes and 2 current paystubs, if applicable. Please click here if you need to request a free copy of your tax return or to help document that you did not have to file. If you do not have your previous year’s tax return, we will request an IRS letter verifying that you did not file taxes.
If you have recently lost your source of employment, the Woodson YMCA can provide you with a 30 day membership at no cost.
If you are struggling with your current membership, our YMCA staff can help so that you can continue to be involved as a member of the Woodson YMCA.
Available to those who cannot qualify for financial assistance but cannot afford to pay the regular membership fees. This membership type is based on the honesty of the prospective member. Inquire at Member Service Center. Click here to download and save application.
