Our Y Trainers

YMCA Personal Trainers are committed to helping you improve your physical fitness, health and overall quality of life. Through one-on-one guidance and encouragement, our Personal Trainers help you to determine and achieve your personal fitness goals and aid in the development of your very own personal program. Each session is one hour in length and is scheduled at your convenience. Single session, 4-session or 10-session packages available for members and non-members.

You have will accountability, motivation and success through Personal Training at the Y.

Morgan Adamski

I have been personal training MorganAfor three years and I could not ask for a better job. I love to train clients of all ages, fitness levels and exercise experience. My true passion is to work with people who are using activity and exercise as a way of rehabilitation for an injury/illness. It creates a challenge to work around the aftereffects of surgery, chemotherapy thresholds, etc. I believe in weight training and cardiovascular exercise as well as balance activities and range of motion exercises. In my years of being in the fitness industry, being well rounded in each has shown the best results in rehabilitation and overall physical fitness. Seeing someone improve physically gives me such a sense of accomplishment. Seeing someone improve mentally is truly the icing on the cake.

Olivia Crevier


As a dancer, I have always appreciated physical fitness and the body’s ability to move. After experiencing my fair share of injuries throughout my dance career, I began strength training and cross training programs and learned how to work out better and more efficiently. I became stronger than I’d ever been. I love sharing everything I’ve learned about how to train properly while also having fun. There is nothing more exciting than seeing someone get stronger and healthier and truly having a good time doing so! I enjoy putting together workouts for a wide variety of clients to help improve overall daily functioning, cardiovascular endurance, total body strength, and flexibility and balance.

Jake Damask


I strive to make a unique program for each person and help them overcome weaknesses in their own body so that they can improve their everyday health and wellness. My style of training is all about functional fitness and replicating movements people do everyday. By doing this I can help others stay fit and healthy. Doing tasks such as stacking wood, which I grew up doing, can have great benefits and that is why I use weights in similar ways to challenge people’s balance, strength, and endurance. Many times no weight is needed but the balance and strength still gets improved.

Linda Gehrke

With 30+ years experience, including being owner/operator of my own health club for 17 years, I have worked with all ages and fitness levels, individually or in small group training. I can provide motivation, encouragement and constant attention to proper form and technique to enable my clients to get the most out of their workouts. They have seen life-changing results such as getting off medications,  being less winded going up a flight of stairs, having the strength to keep active with kids and /or grandkids, up to competing in a marathon, Tough Mudder or bodybuilding competition. I have enjoyed 12 years here at the YMCA and now I’m the Wausau Branch Wellness Engagement Coordinator helping our members with questions about cardio and strength training equipment. I can also help you with a Microfit Fitness Evaluation or determine body composition and BMI as a great starting fitness tool or to measure progress.

I use a variety of methods to help clients reach their goals including: free weights, cardio workouts, body weight activities and resistance training. I spent a part of my adult life out-of-shape and overweight so I understand the struggles that face exercisers of all ability levels. Drawing on my knowledge of diet and exercise I know we can put together a program that will lead to success. I believe that we are in this together.
