All rooms include progressive preschool, and gymnastics/movement classes at no additional cost. Children in the 3 year old class and older also participate in swimming lessons. Our all inclusive program is an obvious choice for parents who want their children to grow cognitively, physically and emotionally. Important life values, such as honesty, caring, respect and responsibility are a key part of our curriculum.

4 YEAR OLD PRESCHOOL LITERACY PROGRAM
Wausau School District (Wausau Branch only)
This program is geared toward children who have turned four by September 1st and live in the Wausau School District. Our focus in this program is reading readiness and preparing children for kindergarten. Swimming lessons and gymnastics are included with this program. Children that meet the qualifications listed above and are enrolled full time in the YMCA Child Care also have the option to join this class.

Our Preschool Programs are designed to provide well supervised, safe, positive, quality care for children. All preschool programs are licensed as required by the State of Wisconsin and offer children the opportunity to grow and develop in a semi-structured, enriching, multi-choice, low-pressure environment. All classes include swimming and gymnastics/movement.

Where else can your child go after
school to swim, play basketball, do crafts and have
active, healthy "downtime"?
The YMCA School Age program offers this plus an escort to swim lessons,
gymnastics or any other "Y" program you would like your child involved
in when you are at work. Children enrolled in our program are guaranteed a
spot on in-service and snow days. Transportation available from some
schools.
$6.00 per week each way transportation fee. Registration is limited. The
premiere place to be for the school age child.

CARE
Mini care is quality child care for
children ages 6 weeks through 6 years while you work out.
Mini-care is not a full time child care facility, therefore a child's enrollment
is limited to a maximum of 3 hours per visit.
Parents must remain in the building while utilizing mini-care.
Perfect for a swim or workout.
Fees:

The Family Fun Center is the perfect
place for families to relax and play while older children are participating in
classes or team activities. Parents must remain
with their children, as there is no YMCA staff supervision.
No food or beverages allowed in this area.
