New at Woodson YMCA
Make us part of your holiday plans! We will be open 8 am – 12 pm on Memorial Day Monday!
Meet Addison and Sydney.
They enjoy meeting new friends at Camp Sturtevant every year. From archery to soccer to zip lining, Y camp means a full summer of fun! Registration is open for full and half day programming for ages 3-16. Get details here.
Heard about our NEW summer Sunday hours? Starting after Memorial Day, both branches will be open 10 am- 2 pm all summer long!
Make a difference for a child this summer. Give a High $5 for Kids! Now through June, you may opt to donate $5 (or more) at the Member Service Center and we’ll add your name to a hand on the wall at either Woodson YMCA branch. All contributions help provide scholarships through the YMCA’s Community Partners Campaign to area children who would not otherwise have the same opportunities to participate in positive, caring Y programs. Thanks for your gift and generosity!
Sign up your child for a new event. Ages 6-14 are able to participate in the Youth Triathlon as part of Badger State Summer Games! There are 3 age divisions and each division will have a run, bike and swim event of varying lengths. Register at badgerstategames.org.
“I just think the Y is fabulous. The thing that strikes me -after 26 years at the Woodson Y- you always provide a community for everybody whether you want to be a group exerciser, as an individual, a place to meet…it’s more than exercise, it’s a community.”
Joan Eckert, Wausau
We are very pleased to once again be named your #1 choice place for a workout in the Wausau Daily Herald’s 2015 Readers’ Choice Awards! The WOODSON YMCA is committed to building strong kids, individuals, families, and communities through programs and services that promote a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
